How can we determine if the material for furniture is solid wood or not? Just by the looks, it will be impossible, even for someone who's been in the business for many years. So, look at the furniture introduction to know whether its material is BB? PB? PW? or MDF? if yes, it is wood grain paper is pasted on the surface.

I'm here to tell you guys about how to determine whether it's solid wood or not. The easiest way is looking at the corners of the furniture.

If it's at a 90 degrees sharp angle, that means it has been processed. since it requires the least process to produce a 90-degree corner which will save manufacturer a lot of money.

Plates cannot be easily processed and cut into sharp corners; it needs to be slowly rounded off into smooth corners. And it's hard to reshape after the first process.

In the same way, solid wood will not cut out 90 degrees sharp angle, because it will collapse. So solid wood furniture must be smooth corners R transition.
